The Most Wonderful Time

Merry Christmas! It's indeed the most wonderful time of the year! Here in Japan it's especially important because many Japanese people are open to hearing about the meaning of Christmas. We want to see Japanese encounter Jesus this Christmas in a new and personal way. We have much to be thankful for this Advent season, including you! Thank you for your support of God's work in Japan!

Christmas events at Tsukuba and Chikusei

Updates & Praise:

• Our "American Christmas" events took place at Tsukuba and Saiwaicho the past two weekends. We are so thankful for the kids that came and heard the Christmas message. Thank you for your prayers!

• Malia's monthly "Treehouse" English children's ministry continues to go strong.

• One of our neighbors recently invited us and a few other neighbors over to their house for lunch. This is rare in Japan! It was a wonderful time to connect and be a witness.

• We celebrated Elijah's third birthday! We can't believe how big he's getting!

Prayer:

• Please pray for the special Christmas Treehouse events during service at TLC and SCC the weekend before Christmas!

• Please pray for Jeff's men's ministry. He continues to meet with H-san for English practice, and will study the Christmas story for December's meeting. Jeff will also start a new English Bible study with S-kun, a new believer.

• Please pray for preparations for Malia's English classes and Jeff and Ayumi-sensei's Alpha classes that are scheduled to launch in spring 2026.

• We have a $160/month budget increase coming in January due to rising health insurance costs. Please pray for this provision of funds.

• Please pray for Mason's middle school options and applications, for wisdom in how to proceed in a complicated Japanese process.
