Spring Draws Near

Hello from Yokohama! Spring draws near, and with it we look forward to what new things God has in store for us for ministry here in Japan.

Updates & Praise:

• The Azamino Chapel Valentine's Day outreach event ("Ladies and Lattes") went very well! Many women participated, drank coffee, heard about God's perfect love, and had fun making crafts.

• Jeff has begun meeting with not-yet-believer Mr. T (along with teammate Justin) to have spiritual conversations. Mr. T's wife is a new believer. Please pray for Mr. T's eyes and ears to be opened to the Gospel! 

• Malia's dad will visit Japan for 2 weeks starting this coming weekend. We're very excited to see him soon!

Prayer:

• Please pray for upcoming ministry events:

  • Easter service and egg hunt at Azamino Chapel (on 3/23)

  • Easter service at Denen Grace Church Mizonokuchi Chapel (on 3/31), where Malia will sing as part of the choir

  • Kids' Easter outreach event in Ibaraki (on 4/5)

• Please pray for Jeff as he will share his testimony (in Japanese!) at 2 occasions for Easter. May it be God's words!

• As our team leaders, the Mitchells, plan to return to the States for 4 months this summer for home assignment (June through September), please pray for us and our teammate Alissa to be able to run the Azamino ministries well in their absence, by God's grace.
