A Time for Renewal

We can't believe we've reached the final month of our home assignment. We'll be in Washington until April 1st. Our time Stateside has been quite busy, from visiting family and friends and several supporting churches (in WA, OR, and CA) to attending the missionary debrief program in Colorado (it was an amazing time!). But this month things finally slow down a bit and we will get a chance to take some time for rest and renewal.

While it's been wonderful to spend time in America, we are also missing our home and life in Japan. We're excited to close out our time in the States by celebrating Mason, who has decided to get baptized and declare his faith in Jesus!

Updates & Praise:

• Mason is getting baptized at Lighthouse on March 30th! Praise God! May God continue to work in his heart and guide his steps with Jesus all of his days!

• We had an amazing time at MTI's Debrief and Renewal program in Colorado last month! Praise God that the last-minute changes to our itinerary worked out (we swithed to go on February 10th instead of the 23rd).

• Our visits to several supporting churches (Kirkland, Bellevue, and Seattle, WA, and Pleasanton, CA) in the last month went well and were a great time to connect and share about God's ministry in Japan.

• Back in Japan, new believer H-san recently got baptized at Azamino Chapel. Hallelujah! We rejoice with her and pray that God will use her testimony to reach many!

• We got to celebrate Kaili's 9th birthday!

Prayer:

• Please pray for our last visit to a supporting church this coming Sunday in Seattle, which also has a Japanese-speaking congregation. Please pray for our language and for the Holy Spirit to give us the words to speak--our Japanese is a little rusty in the States.

• Please pray for Jeff's upcoming online meeting on Saturday with fellow dad H-san back in Japan as they meet to practice English, that it would be a Spirit-led conversation.

• As our time in the States draws closer to an end, please pray for good goodbyes and packing.

• Please pray for partnership development and support raising. Praise God that new and increased support has come in! Now we are only under-funded by $100 per month.
