Pray for Japan - Day 7 - Kaili

Updated: Jan 20, 2021

Thanks for embarking on this journey of 10 days of prayer for Japan with us! We know that God needs to be at the center of all we do. He is the reason we are going to Japan in the first place! We want to cover the nation of Japan in prayer. Although sometimes it's hard to ask for it ourselves, our family also needs prayer as we begin to make final preparations for our move to Japan.

“This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’”

Matthew 6:9-13

For our seventh day, we'd like to humbly ask for prayer for our 4-year-old daughter, Kaili. Kaili wrote out her prayer requests (with help from Daddy):

  • Please pray for new friends in Japan, because I won't have any friends at first. I will only know my family. I'm scared that it will be hard to make new friends and I don't want to be lonely. I hope and pray that new friends will like me.

  • Please pray for my school. I feel scared to go to a new school in Japan for the first time.

  • While I am going to miss my friends and family in Washington, please pray that I won't be too sad.

  • I am excited about learning new things in Japan; please pray that it's not too hard.
